Lines before the floor

The evening starts with the road. From Coaldale, Taber or Raymond, that means fuel for the car, or a cab fare each way. The casino names no shuttle, bus route or taxi pickup point, so the getting-there line is yours to fill in. Parking at PURE Casino Lethbridge costs nothing, and the statement prints it as zero.

After that come the meal, the drinks and the ride home. The guide publishes no menu, fuel or cab prices, because they change. You type what you expect to pay on each line. The calculator adds those figures to the two posted facts and nothing else.

The card

The PURE Rewards 10%

Holders of the PURE Rewards card pay 10% less on food and drink bills at the casino. Alcohol, specials and promotional items are left out. That is why the statement keeps two separate lines: food and soft drinks on one, alcohol on the other. Only the first line gets the discount. Specials belong on the second line as well.

Winner's Edge, the card AGLC runs across Alberta, works another way. It earns points on money played at slot machines and at the electronic table, not at the live tables. Points do not lower the bill, so the statement leaves them out. Guest Services issues that card to adults 18 and over who show government ID.

The clock on the bill

Stage Coach Grill serves daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Buffalo Bar pours from 8 a.m. until 4 a.m., so a drink can still go on the tab after the grill closes. The doors open at 8 a.m. and close at 5 a.m. the next morning.

Slots are open from 10 a.m. to 5 a.m. daily. Live tables follow a single schedule with the poker room: 2 p.m. to 3 a.m. on weekdays, and noon to 3 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. All times are Mountain time, so an evening shift finishes on the following calendar day. No holiday hours are posted; confirm them by calling (403) 381-9467.

The floor limit, typed last

The last line on the statement is the floor limit, and it is your own number. The guide does not suggest one. The calculator divides it by the hours you plan to stay and shows a pace per hour. It never estimates wins or losses.

Does parking add anything to the bill?

Parking at PURE Casino Lethbridge costs nothing, so that line on the statement stays at zero.

Does the PURE Rewards card take 10% off beer or wine?

The discount does not reach them. PURE Rewards takes 10% off food and drink bills, but alcohol, specials and promotional items are excluded. Beer and wine go on the undiscounted line.

Are blackjack minimum bets posted?

Minimum bets for the live tables, blackjack included, are not posted anywhere. The casino lists three kinds of blackjack: the classic game, Free Bet Blackjack and Double Down Madness.

Where do the figures go after they are typed?

They stay in the open tab. The site has no forms, accounts or cookies, and the calculator sends nothing anywhere. The only thing the site remembers is the light or dark theme, until the tab is closed.
