Help
Where to call or write
- The Addiction Helpline, run by Recovery Alberta, answers at 1-866-332-2322 at any hour. Calls cost nothing, stay confidential and cover gambling problems.
- 211 Alberta takes a call to 211, a text with INFO to 211 or an online chat. It is free and confidential, never closes and refers people to gambling support.
- Self-exclusion through AGLC can only be arranged online, at selfexclusion.ca, and it can cover regulated online gaming, racing entertainment centres and casinos in Alberta, or both. Terms of six months or one, two or three years are available; each begins immediately and cannot be cut short.
- AGLC runs GameSense as its responsible gambling program. GameSense Advisors and an information centre are found at every Alberta racing entertainment centre and casino.
Limits on the Winner's Edge card
Through the My Activity and Budgeting Tools, Winner's Edge members can choose their own limits on spending and time, along with alerts. These can be set up in an online account or at a Winner's Edge kiosk located in any casino in Alberta. The card is run province-wide by AGLC.
Guest Services issues the card to adults 18 and over who show government ID. The tools belong to members, so the card comes first.
Write the total down first
Before leaving home, write the whole evening on one sheet of paper: the ride there, food, drinks, the ride back and the floor limit. Put the ride back near the top, so it is never the line that gets squeezed. Keep the sheet in a pocket. When the floor line is used up, play stops, and the rest of the bill stays as written.
Method
Byline, sources and method
This guide is written and signed by the Running Total desk, a collective byline with no named author. The desk checked the facts on October 14, 2026. Sources were PURE Casino Lethbridge's own pages, Tourism Lethbridge, the Rocky Mountain Turf Club, AGLC, the Alberta iGaming Corporation, Recovery Alberta and OpenStreetMap. Distances are straight lines between OpenStreetMap points, from town centre to casino, not road distances.
The cost calculator adds only the reader's numbers. Its two posted facts are free parking and the PURE Rewards card's 10% off food and drink, alcohol excluded. No menu, fuel or taxi prices appear, since they change. It never estimates wins or losses.
Nothing typed into a calculator leaves the open tab, and the site has no forms, accounts or cookies. Pictures are generated scenes without people, and none shows the casino or its signs. Paid links, each marked Ad, sit on the home page only.
