416 slots, 28 VLTs

The gaming floor has 28 VLTs plus 416 slot machines. Slots take bets of a penny, a quarter or a loonie, and titles include American Original and Alberta Gold. The bet size applies to each spin, while the limit for the night remains a number the reader sets.

Machines run from 10 a.m. until 5 a.m., every day of the week. Doors open earlier, at 8 a.m., so the first two hours have no slot play. No separate hours are posted for the VLTs. All times are Mountain time. Holiday hours are not posted, and a call to (403) 381-9467 is the only way to confirm them.

Live tables

The live table line

There are 11 live tables in total: 9 for table games and 2 for poker. The casino lists baccarat, roulette, 3-card poker and Ultimate Texas Hold'em. Blackjack comes in three kinds: the classic game, Free Bet Blackjack and Double Down Madness.

Minimum bets for the live tables are not posted anywhere. Until you stand at a table and read its limit, the table line of any budget is your own guess. Tables and the poker room keep one schedule: 2 p.m. to 3 a.m. Monday through Friday, and noon to 3 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Times are Mountain time, so a 3 a.m. close falls on the next calendar day.

One electronic table, 8 seats

A single electronic Multi-Game table has 8 seats. It switches between blackjack, baccarat, 3-card poker and roulette, and no separate hours are posted for it. Winner's Edge, the casino card AGLC runs across Alberta, earns points on money played here and at the slot machines. Live tables are not on that list. Guest Services issues the card to adults 18 and over who show government ID.

The $1-$3 cash game

The poker room deals a $1-$3 No-Limit Hold'em cash game, and that is the one poker stake the casino posts. Anything else about poker goes through the poker housemen in the room. Two of the 11 live tables are set aside for it. The room keeps the table schedule: 2 p.m. to 3 a.m. on weekdays, and noon to 3 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

Bullys Casino at the turf club

Bullys Casino is the city's other gaming room, inside the Rocky Mountain Turf Club at 3401 Parkside Drive South.
